Oberhausen. The carnival time in Oberhausen is exciting! The popular old women, known for its women's power, will take place in a new hall this year. The first splendor meetings are already sold out - the anticipation is huge!

The 1. FC WiB ob, the "first festival committee - women in Bütt Oberhausen" brings a breath of fresh air to the carnival scene. This event, which has been enthusiastic about women for years, was severely affected by the pandemic and financial bottlenecks of the Ruhr workshop. But the unshakable organizers did not let themselves get down! After two comeback events last year in the Altenberg Center, the old women ball returns with a new vigor.

On Thursday, February 27, 2025, and Friday, February 28, 2025, celebrations are celebrated in the resonance work (Annemarie-Renger-Weg 5, behind the Hostel Veritas)! The makers have founded a non -profit association to cover the costs and win sponsors. Costumes were sewn with a lot of creativity, sketches were written and dance choreographies were rehearsed. The motto "runs" promises a festival full of music, sketches and a subsequent party!

The demand is enormous! While the women's carnivalists hope for lively response, other events are already sold out. The KG Alstadener Bären reports that the bear meeting on Friday, January 10, 2025, in which Luise-Albertz-Halle is completely sold out.
