Oberhausen. An excitement of a special kind: Jörg Bausch, the popular hit star, wanted to present his fans a new hit before a concert in Oberhausen. But what was planned as a simple post developed into a Facebook drama!

The 51-year-old singer wanted to share his music video "On the silver platter" on his Facebook page when he suddenly received the shocking news: "Facebook wanted to delete my video!" The reason? A violation of the usage guidelines of the parent company Meta. And what was the scandalous trigger? "My bare shoulders were to blame!" Bausch, who comes from Essen-Borbeck, could hardly believe it.

In the three -minute clip, Bausch is not exactly the next Magic Mike. In one scene he pulls his white shirt on, and for a short moment his bare shoulders flash out under a sleeveless carrier shirt. There is also a short, upper body -free scene from fitness training. The song itself deals with heartache and longings - nothing that the moral guards should put up with. But Facebook disagreed and threatened to delete the video if Bausch did not apply for a review.

The singer reacted quickly and applied for the review. And lo and behold: Facebook finally gave the green light for the music video! "Obviously my shoulders are more controversial than I thought!" Commented Bausch with humor. His fans were informed immediately on his Facebook page-this time without censorship problems. The vertebrae was worth it: "On the silver platter", almost 27,000 times were called on YouTube within a few days. Bausch, who has already collected millions of clicks with his hits, will appear on March 23, 2025 at the "XXL concert" in the Rudolf Weber-Arena. The tickets are in great demand!
