Muenster. This week, five long-time employees of the Münster district government were honored for their 25 years of service. District President Andreas Bothe and Government Vice President Dr. Ansgar Scheipers presented the anniversary certificates to Sabine Heitmann, Christian Helmig, Verena Lammerding, Marion Uhlenbusch and Thomas Woltering during a ceremony.

"Your many years of commitment and your valuable knowledge are of great importance to our authority. Thank you for your loyalty! I wish you many more interesting years in your professional life," said the District President in his speech. This award is not only a recognition of the personal achievements of those celebrating an anniversary, but also reflects the continuity and stability in the administration.

The honorees in detail

The professional careers of those honored are as diverse as they are remarkable. Sabine Heitmann completed her training as an administrative assistant between 1999 and 2002 at the Western Waterways and Shipping Directorate in Münster. After further training as an administrative specialist, Heitmann worked in various positions, including processing aid for pension recipients in the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development. She is currently working in the area of ​​emissions control and environmental protection at the Münster district government.

Christian Helmig, a trained IT specialist, also completed his training at the Münster district government from 2000 to 2003. He was subsequently employed permanently and took on numerous tasks in the area of ​​information technology, including user support and project management. Today Helmig is responsible for IT system operations.

Verena Lammerding started her career in 1999 with training as an administrative assistant before moving to the Düsseldorf pension office to study. After further positions, she returned to the Münster district government in 2020, where she is now responsible for rural development and land management.

Marion Uhlenbusch brought her qualifications as a wholesale and retail clerk to the district government. Her work began in the school secretariat of the city of Lengerich before moving to personnel matters at the vocational college.

Thomas Woltering, who also completed his training with the district government, worked in youth welfare after various positions in the police and in the Steinfurt district. He returned in 2016 and now works as a group leader in personnel and staffing matters for teachers.

This honor not only documents the individual careers of those celebrating their anniversary, but also the stability and reliability of the public service in Münster.
