New residential area in Mülheim: Changes to the development plan decided!

A new wind blows in Mülheim an der Ruhr! The project -related development plan "Scheffelstraße / Wohnquartier Dichterviertel -S 18 (V) / I" faces decisive changes that will significantly influence the urban development in the region. From December 2, 2024 to January 10, 2025, interested citizens can view the revised plans on the city's official website. In addition, the documents in the technical town hall at Hans-Böckler-Platz 5, 19th floor, left-hand area, are available.

The changes are profound: Instead of seven planned chain houses in the eastern area, a new residential project with around 18 residential units and common rooms is realized. Eichendorffstraße is also being redesigned to create a spacious open space for the residential project. In addition, a chain house in the western area is canceled to make room for a joint parking facility. The project area is expanded to the south by around 183 square meters to integrate an additional above -ground parking space.

Important information for interested parties

The city administration points out that the Office for Urban Planning and Economic Development from December 23, 2024 to January 1, 2025 remains closed due to company holidays. During this time it is not possible to inspect the development plan documents on site, and there are no employees available for information.
