Art for children: Mülheimer calendar 2025 now on sale!
in Mülheim an der Ruhr there is a gratifying initiative that not only recognizes the art scene, but also promotes reading in children. The Freundeskreis Mülheim artist for children has announced the start of sales of the weekly calendar for 2025, whereby the entire proceeds from the sale of the calendar to the elementary school to go to Krähenbüschken.
This special calendar is designed by 60 talented artists from various artificial division and promises to be an ideal Christmas present for art and reading lovers. From this week the calendars are available in the museum shop of the Kunstmuseum Mülheim on Viktoriaplatz and in several bookstores from the city, including Fehst and Hilberath & Lange.
Support of reading skills
The proceeds from the calendar sale benefit directly to the reading promotion at the primary school, which means that the children will benefit from a book donation. The initiative aims to increase the reading skills of the students. In times when digital learning is becoming more and more present, it is more important than ever to support reading behavior in early childhood.
The team of artists and supporters hopes that many Mülheimer and visitors to the city will become aware of this opportunity and not only want to promote art, but also the formation of young people. This is particularly relevant at a time when social projects play an increasingly important role to improve access to education and cultural resources.
So if you are looking for a gift and want to do good, you should hurry up, as the calendar should be out of print quickly. The combination of art and education is a successful approach that enriches cultural life in Mülheim and at the same time benefits students.
