Israel declares UN boss to be a undesirable person after rocket attack

In the current geopolitical situation in the Middle East, a dramatic turning point has been reached. Israel has declared the UN Secretary General António Guterres as a "undesirable person". The reason for this is his supposed inability to clearly condemn Iran for its aggressive actions against Israel. This was clarified by Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz on platform X. This sharp reaction follows the second rocket attack of Iran within five months.

The statement by Guterres, who asked for reluctance and emphasized that a ceasefire was required, was not heard by the Israeli responsible. At the same time, the focus of the fights shifted since the Israeli ground troops for the first time in almost two decades on Tuesday. Losses on the Israeli side became known, which is a worrying trend.

First losses for the Israeli army in Lebanon

The Israeli armed forces suffered for the first time since the beginning of their offensive fights. A 22-year-old captain was killed in action. While the military initially did not provide any information about other injuries, the proiran Hisbollah reported that Israeli troops were pushed back to the Lebanese border town of Udaissa in a push. However, details about possible losses of the Hisbollah have not been published.

The Israeli army announced that they are continuing their operations in several regions in the South Libanon. Around 150 destinations of the HISBOLLAH were attacked in the air strikes, including command centers, arms camps and rocket shot ramps. These intensive military actions come only one day after a dramatic step: the inlet of the Israeli floor troops into Lebanon, which represents a significant escalation of the conflicts in the region.

The stricter situation in the Middle East raises serious questions about the future dynamics of the conflict, in particular in the context of the violent clashes between Israel and the Hamas, which has been operating from the Gaza strip, that has been in progress since October 7th

reactions of the international community

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni,

Italy called in a meeting of the G7 State and government heads to discuss the tense conditions in the region. Meloni emphasized Italy's commitment to a diplomatic solution to the conflict and emphasized that it was urgently necessary to de -escalate the situation.

In the meantime, the Iran said about his foreign minister Abbas Araghchi that the country does not strive for an escalation, but was also not afraid to reject harder in the event of an Israeli retaliation. This happens against the background of revenge thinking after the killing of important leaders of Hamas and the Hisbollah.

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has already announced retaliation measures and warned of the consequences of Tehran's actions. Observers assume that Israel could possibly pass through military strokes against the Iranian nuclear systems. In particular, the focus is on the enrichment systems in Natanz, which could further increase the tensions.

Against this background, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz also expressed concern and warned of the risks of a surface fire in the region. Germany's Foreign Minister emphasized that the Iranian attack on Israel was unacceptable and received a clear conviction by the federal government.

The USA meanwhile called Israel to a weighed reaction, while emphasizing that support for Israel's defense is still fest. In this complex and constantly changing situation, the international reactions remain of great importance.
