Oppenwehe celebrates the new birth trees - a festival for the children!
In Oppenwehe, a special ceremony recently took place: the inauguration of the so -called birth tree for the children born in 2023. This tree, adorned with name plumbers and colorful flags, now stands as a symbol for the new life and the community of small locals.
The initiative for this tree comes from the association "We in Oppenwehe". Particular attention was paid to giving such an honor to the older children who were born before 2023. Therefore, an additional tree received inauguration to celebrate the belonging and growth of all children in Oppenwehe.

After the ceremony, a cozy meeting for coffee and cake was invited to a cozy meeting. In the Oppenwehe kindergarten, the parents could not only enjoy the festival, but also visit the premises and come into discussion. Such an exchange between the parents not only contributes to promoting community feeling, but also offers a space for the knoting new friendships.
"The birth tree meadow in Oppenwehe is supposed to be a lively, natural space for the children and parents. Further actions for the birth tree children are planned," said the association and thus shows the will for continuous support and integration of families in the community life.
registrations for future birth trees
It will be particularly exciting for families who expect a child next year. Registrations for birth tree 2024 can now be accepted.
