Wuppertal, Deutschland - The regiobahn has now put the latest digital scoreboards into operation and thus ensures real progress in local public transport! At all stops between Wuppertal-Hahnenfurth/Düssel and Erkrath-Nord, the modern indicators were installed, which inform about the departure times of the trains in real time. Delays and failures are taken into account immediately - a real profit for all commuters!

But that's not all! These digital miracles are not only intended for the sighted. Blind and visually impaired people can also be happy: With a simple push of a button, the information displayed is read out loud. This makes access to local public transport easier for everyone!

This project is part of a comprehensive digitization program that is financially supported by the Rhein-Ruhr Transport Association (VRR). The Regiobahn is already planning further improvements for the future, including new information systems for rail replacement traffic and digital passenger information monitors. The future of local transport becomes digital - and the regiobahn is at the forefront!
