On Saturday, November 9th, the city library is transformed into a magical empire for small listeners! From 11 a.m. to 11.30 a.m., the reading hour of children between the ages of three and six invites you to immerse yourself in the colorful world of the picture bay theater. Rolf Schmitz presented the captivating piece "When the ravens were still colorful" by Edith Schreiber-Wicke. The story tells of Raben, who once radiated in bright colors - from pink with purple tail feathers to light blue stripes with orange -red. But despite their beauty, they were constantly in a fight, everyone wanted to be the most beautiful. But then the unpredictable happens and gets the life of the ravens out of joint!
After the exciting reading, the little artists can let their creativity run wild! Together is painted and tinkered, inspired by the colorful world of raven. The best thing about it? Participation in this story time is completely free, and registration is not necessary - just come over and participate!

For the creative minds, which also want to bring stories alive outside the library, Kamishibai frames and a large selection of picture book cards are available for loan. So everyone can perform their own picture bay theater, be it privately or in an institution. An experience that stimulates the imagination and promotes the love of literature!
