Breast cancer early recognition: Informed in the pink October in St. Josefs Hospital!

in October, the month of the consciousness for breast cancer, an important event in the breast center at the St. Josefs Hospital in Hilden is reminiscent of the critical importance of early detection. On Wednesday, October 30th, interested women have the opportunity to get valuable information about breast cancer from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. "We want women to come to us with questions about this serious topic," explains Prof. Dr. Livia Küffner, the responsible chief physician of Senology.

over 70,000 women in Germany are affected annually, which means tragic 192 diagnoses per day. The "Pink October" should not only inform women about the dangers, but also stimulate regular self -examination and medical controls. This simple action can save for many lives and is a crucial factor to recognize the disease at an early stage.
