Fire in Hilden: suspected intentional arson in the garden!

In a shocking incident in Hilden, two gazeboards were completely destroyed in an allotment garden on the street “An den Gölden” in a violent fire in a allotment garden on the morning of October 23, 2024. The dramatic events unfold at around 9:50 a.m. when attentive neighbors alerted the police and fire brigade after discovering the blazing fire.

The fire brigade's forces came across a surface burn that quickly reached around. Despite the brave and quick intervention, the fire brigade could not prevent the flames from attacking a neighboring parcel. Both gardens were put in rubble and ash! Tragically, the rescue workers also discovered a dog that was found dead on one of the properties.

Investigations run

The police confiscated the fire location because it cannot be ruled out that the fire was deliberately laid. An investigation was initiated and the criminal police have taken over the investigation into the cause of the devastating fire. The preliminary total damage is estimated on an average five -digit sum.
