Winterchaos in Hesse: A3 closed for hours after truck accident!

Ransbach-Baumbach, Rheinland-Pfalz, Deutschland - Winter hit Westhessen with full force! In the night of Thursday, November 21, the A3 turned into a chaotic battlefield. Trucks are stuck, the streets are slippery and the rescue workers have their hands full. The driver could not brake in time and pushed several vehicles into each other. The result? Three slightly injured people and property damage in the six -figure area!

The cleanup work went into the early morning. The traffic between Limburg and Montabaur could only flow again around 4 a.m. But that was not the only problem! There were also massive difficulties on the federal roads in the district of Limburg-Weilburg. Several trucks and a heavy transport got stuck on the snow-covered streets, while bus traffic in the Rheingau-Taunus district came to a standstill. The weather also caused problems in the Lahn-Dill district and in the Rhön, where a stray vehicle had to help a truck on a steep country road.
