In a spectacular step for security in Frechen near Cologne, the foundation for a brand new police building was laid on November 18, 2024! This modern construction project, part of the “Neobel” district development, is built on a spacious property of 2,100 square meters and offers an impressive rental area of ​​2,500 square meters. The energy -efficient and barrier -free buildings are built in three full floors and is to open its doors in the summer of 2026. It replaces the old, much too small police building, which is no longer sufficient for the requirements.

The construction was made possible by demolishing an outdated logistics area, which Osmab Holding acquired in 2019. The new police station will not only increase security, but is also part of the comprehensive Neobel project, which is developed in collaboration with Goldoc on Alfred-Nobel-Straße. Modern office buildings such as the "Loft House" and the "Green House" were completed in 2023, and a medical center is planned for the next construction phase.

Currently work is being worked on at the construction site: a five -meter -deep construction pit has already been excavated and the earthworks are running according to schedule. "The civil engineering and construction work will be completed in December 2024," announced Aldijana Kolic, managing partner of Goldoc Real Estate. Construction begins from January 2025, and Goldbeck West GmbH was commissioned as a general contractor. After completion of the shell construction, interior design with the latest technology and security systems will be tackled in the summer of 2025. In addition, the building is heated and cooled with air-water heat pumps, while a PV system on the roof partly covers the electricity requirement.
