Magical winter wonderland: Wunderlight Kalkar enchants big and small!

From November 23, 2024 to February 2, 2025, the "Wunderlight in Wonderland Kalkar" shines in full splendor. Daily from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., visitors can dive into four breathtaking, shining worlds. This spectacular event promises an unforgettable experience for the whole family, with countless figures of light that line the path along a sparkling light route.

Visitors can look forward to "Kernie's Winterdorf", the "Dino World", the "Winter Animal World" and the "Winter Wonder". Not only is it stroll here, but also celebrated! The dinosaurs from last year are back and even more impressive. Action is guaranteed, with exciting attractions and covered winter activities such as a ice skating railway and a dino adventure in the museum. For the small hunger in between there is a food market with delicious delicacies.

In "Kernie's Winterdorf", the guests can expect a huge, illuminated house that amazes the little ones. Kernie and Kerna, the popular mascot, welcome visitors to the lantern form and lead them to the "winter animal world", where walruses, polar bears and penguins shine in a mega-iglu. In the "Dino World", the T-Rexe appear from their colorful side, surrounded by festive Christmas trees. Learning and marveling are very important here, and the Wunderlight animals can be discovered with a checklist.

If you want to learn more about the past, you can dive in a playful way in the museum. Pirouettes can be rotated on the weather -independent ice rink, and a meet & greet with Kernie and Kerna is also firmly planned. For everyone who wants to extend the experience, the Wunderland Hotel offers accommodation options, so that the magical moments are remembered for a long time.

Practical information: The event will take place from November 23, 2024 to February 2, 2025, with an entrance fee of € 13.00 online and € 15.00 at the box office (children up to 2 years free). It is open every Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., during the Christmas holidays daily, except on December 24th.
