The problem escalates! In a dramatic fire letter, the political groups of the Schmallenberg city council and the mayor appeal to the ministerial seats in Berlin, Dr. Robert Habeck and Klara Geywitz. They demand an immediate and effective instrument to stop the uncontrolled expansion of the wind turbines. They urgently warn: "We urgently need an immediately effective instrument to protect against an uncontrolled expansion of the wind turbines! In the event of an otherwise expected saving of the landscape, the expansion of wind power will lose any acceptance!"

The facts on the table

Due to the latest decisions by the Higher Administrative Court of Münster, the district government is no longer able to control the permits for building applications according to the new regional plan. This means that wind turbines can now also be built outside the defined wind energy areas until they enter the towns! These latest developments open the door for an unchecked expansion of the wind turbines and leave the residents in fear and horror.
