from Monday, November 11th to Friday, November 15th, it will flash a lot in different locations in the Hochsauerland district! On Monday, checked in Meschede-Frenkhausen on the L686 and in Hallenberg, Nuhnestrasse. On Tuesday, Meschede-Calle, Waller Straße, and Medebach, Hallenberger Straße, are on. Wednesday brings Blitzer in Arnsberg-Oberimer, Hammerweide, and in Winterberg-Niedersfeld, Grönebacher Straße. Measured on Thursday in Bestwig-Heringhausen, Bestwiger Straße, and Marsberg-Bredelar, Sauerlandstrasse. At the end of the week it flashes in Arnsberg-Neheim, Engelbertstraße, and Olsberg, B480, bypass.

The police will also carry out speed controls across the district without announcing the locations in advance. So drivers should always be on the hat!

The consequences of a flash

Those who are flashed should be prepared for sensitive punishments! A warning money of five to 55 euros threatens, while a fine is due from 60 euros. A formal procedure is initiated for fines over 60 euros, and also administrative fees of EUR 28.50 are incurred. The amount of the punishment depends on the catalog of fines, which also regulates points and possible driving bans. Attention: It will be more expensive in the city! Already from 31 km/h there is a threat of driving ban, while outside of it only applies from 41 km/h. So be careful and follow the speed limits!
