A new, exciting chapter begins in the Herford Museum! The fluffy mascot Anton is there and will now accompany the events for children and families. Inspired by the historic weathercock of the former Nikolai church, Anton not only ensures a good mood, but also exciting discoveries in the museum.

The original of the weather tap, the only remnant of the tower of the old Kaufmannskirche demolished in 1850, is presented as part of the redesigned exhibition on the history of Herford. Anton will be shown on Saturday, November 9th, for the first time in the "Saturday skids" series from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Here the little visitors can expect an exciting tour, which is designed especially for children from the age of six. And the best? Entry costs only five euros!

In addition, Anton is the main actor of a small book, which invites you to explore the museum itself with colorful pictures and child -friendly explanations. For just one euro, the Anton booklet is available at the museum treasury and offers the young explorers tasks and information about the fascinating history of the city.

Particularly exciting: The first ten registered children for the Saturdayskids leadership receive an anton booklet! A prior registration is required, either by phone at 05221/189689 or by email.
