Security check in the Heinsberg district: speed camera in these places!

In the district of Heinsberg there are speed controls in the 41st calendar week. This initiative aims to not only increase the security of citizens, but also to ensure the safety of the children. The focus is on different streets and areas that were classified as particularly critical in the region.

On Monday, October 7, the first controls will be carried out to several places, including Brachelener Straße in Linden, Konrad-Adenauer-Straße in Geilenkirchen and Schafhausener Straße in Heinsberg. These locations were selected in a targeted manner in order to monitor a high frequency of vehicles and, if necessary, to punish violations of the rules.

planned controls for the week

On Tuesday, October 8, the measurements extend to Kritzraedtstraße and the Luisenring in Gangelt and Lövenicher Straße in Baal. These streets are known for their frequency and thus increase the need for such measures.

The Wednesday, October 9, brings additional controls in Wegberg on the Grenzlandring and in Heinsberg, both on the Westpromenade and Linderner Strasse. These areas are often affected by speed overruns and therefore require special attention.

On Thursday, October 10, the control in Gerderath on Lauerstrasse and in Erkelenz will be observed. Friedensstraße in Übach-Palenberg is also on the list of surveillance locations that day. This strategic planning aims to identify and minimize potential fociors in good time.

The Friday, October 11th, brings the K4 in Scheifendahl, Erkelenz Straße in Uevekoven and again Linderner Strasse in Heinsberg. On Saturday, October 12th, the controls will take place in Erkelenz on the L19, at the L3/L46 intersection in Grambusch and on the B56 in Geilenkirchen.

The Sunday, October 13th, will not do without speed controls. On this day, the locations in Grambusch are checked at the L3/L46 intersection, on the L42 in Geilenkirchen and again on the L19 in Erkelenz.

In addition to the planned controls, short-term surveillance must be expected in the entire district area. These measures are a further step towards improving traffic safety and geared towards increasing security for all road users, especially for children. The authorities emphasize the importance of such controls and hope for a considerate driving behavior of drivers.
