A drunk cyclist transformed an ordinary afternoon into a chaos on Kamener Strasse on Tuesday (October 22nd)! The 36-year-old from Marl, who was sitting behind the handlebars of her bike with a whopping 1.5 per thousand, collided with a Mercedes around 4 p.m. by a 59-year-old woman from Unna. The street became the scene of an incredible incident that resulted in both injuries and enormous damage to property.

As the police reported, the collision happened when the Mercedes driver slowed down from a red traffic light. The strongly alcoholized cyclist was obviously unable to adapt her speed in time and opened the car. The impact ended with minor injuries for the cyclist, but the damage to the Mercedes is shocking 2000 euros!

After the accident, the cyclist was taken to the hospital for outpatient treatment and further examination. This is an alarming example of what happens when alcohol comes into play - clear proof that drunkenness on two wheels is as dangerous as on four!
