ASV Hamm-Westfalen celebrates spectacular comeback victory against Lübeck!

In the dramatic duel of the 2nd handball Bundesliga, the ASV Hamm-Westfalen against VfL Lübeck-Schwartau achieved a gripping 33:28 victory! Under great pressure, the home team defied all adversities. After the first few minutes were balanced, the ASV had to accept two red cards for Fabian Huesmann and Alexander Coßmann in the course of the game and also waived the injured Tom Jansen.

The Lübeck led in the first half and seemed on the winning road, while the brave hosts fought back with impressive teamwork. Special accents set playmakers Ian Hüter and the shiny goalkeeper Marcos Colodeti, who shone with over 42 percent parades. After the ASV players returned with only three goals at half-time, the team of coach Michael Hegemann changed his defense strategy in the second section and started from the first second, as if there was no tomorrow!

catch -up and triumph

With a raven-black determination, the North Rhine-Westphalia fought their way back into play and initially equalized, but then the said opening goal was followed by Yonatan Dayan in the 41st minute, which caused the spectators to freak out. The Westpress Arena raged when Machner and Böttcher brought the team forward. In the end, the deserved 33:28 win that the team brought to the right course. There was still a downer: Tom Jansen injured himself again and uncertain how long it will be. The next challenge will follow on Saturday - the away match against HSC Coburg.
