Congregation for LIV: Typing campaign gives hope in the fight against blood cancer!
In Hagen in Bremen, the 18-year-old LIV is once again faced with a diagnosis that shakes her family and friends. After a successful two -year fight against blood cancer, the disease returned in October. In order to increase their chances of survival, Liv urgently needs a stem cell donation. Against this background, the Hagen-Beverstedt forest school organized a massive registration campaign to search for potential donors in which many committed citizens and local clubs took part. "We hope for a big Christmas miracle," said Sven Fierek, the head of the school, while the campaign was very popular and gathered over 2,000 euros in donations, such as weser-kurier.de
registration campaign and support
The event took place on December 19, 2024 from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., and all healthy people between the ages of 17 and 55 were invited to register as a stem cell dispenser with the DKMS. The school community and Liv's family appeal to fellow citizens to join this important campaign in order to help LIV and other affected people. Liv's father, a teacher at the forest school, expressed his gratitude for the support and encouraged those present to register: "Anyone: R could give LIV or other blood cancer patients a chance of life. href = "https://www.t-online.de/region/bremen/id_1005296/hagen-im-bremische-18-jaehrige-bekommt-schock-chock-akut-lauft.html"> t-online.de
Participation in the typing campaign was active and was accompanied by a small Christmas party on the school premises, which loosened up the mood with various treats. Livi not only deals with her illness, but also with her hobbies such as swimming and motorcycling. Your loved ones now hope that the action will find a suitable stem cell dispenser to increase LIVS chances of survival and to realize your dream of a carefree life after therapy.
