From 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. On Sunday, visitors can admire over 230 magnificent chickens, dwarf chickens and pigeons, which are evaluated by experienced price judges. A special highlight: eight young poultry breeders proudly show their breeding success!
a Comeback after the crisis
"After the break last year due to the poultry flu, we look forward to being able to organize an exhibition again," explains Jens Thiermann, the new chairman of RGZV Hagen. The preservation of rare house poultry breeds, which are on the red list of endangered species, is of the highest importance for the association. In addition, the topic of bird flu remains a central concern for all breeders. The members are ready to answer all questions about poultry farming.
The official opening of the show will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m. by Thiermann and Hagens Mayor Andreas Wittenberg. The best breeders will be honored with prices around 4.30 p.m. on Sunday. Entry costs only one euro for adults, while children can take part in free. A cake buffet with a donation base and a raffle takes care of the physical well -being.
