In the early Saturday morning, a worrying incident occurred in the city center of Hagen. A driver and his companion were spotted on an e-scooter-even though they obviously consumed too much alcohol! In a shocking moment, the "passenger" lost its balance and fell from the scooter, luckily without serious injuries.

But the drama did not end! The driver stopped abruptly and parked the e-scooter on the sidewalk, where eyewitnesses saw how he fluctuated. In a further turn of the event, the two delinquents moved into the busy pedestrian zone, where the police quickly tracked them down and undercut them. The breath alcohol test revealed an alarming value of over 1.2 per thousand-for the "passenger", which had also been driven on the e-scooter beforehand!

The two alcohol offices immediately had to be removed. Their future on the e-scooter is now in danger: they were prohibited from continuing and the driver's license has been ensured.
