XXL-Baumelbank celebrates 20 years National Park Eifel-inviting views!

The Eifel National Park celebrates its 20th anniversary with a spectacular gift: an XXL tree till bank that invites hikers to linger! This impressive seating, which is two and a half meters high and five meters wide, stands on the Mussauelsberg and offers a breathtaking view over the Dreiborn plateau. Made from natural Douglasienholz, it is not only an eye -catcher, but also weatherproof thanks to the high proportion of resins in the wood.

The bank was built by the National Park carpentry and is the result of a generous donation of the national park hosts. Marion Müller, the spokeswoman for the host group, emphasizes the long-term cooperation with the national park: "We would like to say thank you and give the national park back a bit with its guests for the 20th anniversary." National park manager Michael Lammertz is happy about the gift and sees the bank as a symbol of the successful cooperation between the national park and its partners.

Here guests can solve puzzles and learn more about nature in a playful way. The digital scavenger hunt starts at the visitor car park in Vogelsang and includes a distance of around 2.5 kilometers. An exciting adventure for the whole family!
