The auditorium of the Herzogenrath school center experienced a true festival of colors and joy! The Oecher city musicians provided the background music, while the drummer and Pfeiferkorps "forward" Kohlscheid ceremoniously introduced the new Princess Anna-Sabine (Carl). AHK chairman Stephan Rauber said the fool rulers of the past session, Prince Jan I and Princess Yasmin I. (Euskirchen), and welcomed the new ruler with open arms. The mood was electrifying when Vice Mayor Marie-Theres Sobczyk introduced the new princess in a poetic rhyme and presented her the insignia of power: the princess chain, the scepter and the mayor of the city.
