Euskirchen starts citizens' workshops for new flood protection concept!

Krebsgasse 38, 53881 Euskirchen, Deutschland - The city of Euskirchen has launched a brand new flood protection concept! In the coming weeks, this concept will be presented in a number of citizens' workshops that offer citizens the opportunity to actively help shape. Developed by an engineering office, numerous ideas and suggestions from the population flowed into the planning. Now the concept is ready to be presented to the public. Interested parties can view the planned measures on an interactive card on the Erftverband website!

Citizens' workshops start soon!

From December 11th it starts! There are five exciting citizen workshops on the program, which take place in different parts of the city. From Palmersheim to Roitzheim to Frauenberg - the citizens have the chance to find out about the planned flood protection measures and bring their voice. Here are the appointments at an overview:

• 3. Citizens' workshop: 01/22/2025, 6 p.m., village community center Roitzheim
• 4. Citizens' workshop: 29.01.2025, 6 p.m., Alte Tuchfabrik
• 5. Citizens' workshop: 05.02.2025, 6 p.m., village community house Frauenberg/Oberwichterich

The admission begins at 5:45 p.m. and non -alcoholic drinks are provided. Be there and actively shape the flood protection in Euskirchen!
