A shocking traffic accident shook the Autobahn 1 near Bakum! On Tuesday morning, at 8:30 a.m., a 61-year-old driver from the Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis, while he was traveling towards Hamburg, got into health difficulties. In a terrible moment, his Ford came off the road and slammed against a slide protection wall in the construction site area!

But the catastrophe didn't end! The driver continued his journey and tried to overtake a tractor -trailer, which led to another devastating collision. His vehicle was completely defective after the crash and stopped on the right lane, which resulted in a depressing dam background of about five kilometers. The highway was blocked to the Vechta junction when the rescue work started. The damage? Incredible 20,000 euros!
