Plettenberg, Deutschland - This afternoon, the members of the Pettenberg senior citizens' representative held an informative meeting, where they looked back on their previous work, achieved goals and past actions. The aim of this event is to reach a broader public, in particular potential candidates for the upcoming election as a senior citizens' representation next year. Those responsible emphasize that they are looking for other committed people who are willing to get involved in a voluntary basis.

One of the highlights of the event is the raffle of 100 loose, with each fifth lot wins a price. The winning includes tickets for the “Rock am Stock” event, which takes place on November 9th.

The role of the senior citizens' representative

The increasing number of older people in Plettenberg is a clear indication of how important it is to actively involve this group in political decision -making. For this reason, the senior citizens' representative was launched in 2010, in which the foundation of the advice, administration and the interested seniors were involved.
