FC Bayern Munich with a dramatic catch-up in the DFB Cup final!

Köln, Deutschland - FC Bayern Munich secured a place in the final of the DFB Cup with an impressive 3-2 home win against 1899 Hoffenheim. Thanks to the outstanding Danish striker Pernille Harder, the team was able to overcome a 0-2 deficit. Harder shone with a triple pack that she achieved in the 35th, 40th (penalty) and 53rd minute. Captain Sarah Zadrazil led the Munich women over the entire season, while the injured Katharina Naschenweng continued to fail. This final is the sixth in history for Bavaria, it takes place on May 1st in Cologne, as * laola1.at * reported.

Although Bayern took over the pressure, FC Duisburg also started combative and surprisingly led through an own goal of Taryn Ries (42nd minute). But in the second half, the Munich women showed their full strength. Giulia Gwinn equalized in the 49th minute before Georgia Stanway turned the game just a few minutes later, in the 52nd minute. Magdalena Eriksson increased the result to 3: 1 (63th minute), and the final result was even clearer in the final phase by late gates from Jovana Damnjanovic and Sydney Lohmann. Bavaria dominated the game and again showed that they are the outstanding team of the league, as * zdf.de * emphasized.
