Dalai Lama reveals: luck is the key to peace!

The Dalai Lama, the spiritual head of the Tibetans, looks directly into the camera and speaks to us - a moment that touches the hearts! In a possibly last interview, which is considered a legacy of the "wisdom of happiness", he shares his deepest insights over joy and the meaning of life. At the age of 89, the Nobel Peace Prize winner himself experienced the dark side of life, but he cannot be overwhelmed by anger and destruction. Instead, he encourages us to take a deep breath and overcome negative feelings.

The Swiss directors Barbara Miller and Philip Delaquis have created a unique connection with their film. The camera is placed in such a way that the canvas becomes an open door, and the Dalai Lama does not speak to an anonymous audience, but directly to each individual of us. The intensive interview is complemented by unpublished archive recordings, which give us a look at the life of the man, which was born in 1935 as Tenzin Gyatso. Cameraman Manuel Bauer, with his impressive images, expands the perspective of our world and the challenges we are facing.
