HSV triumphs 4: 1 over Düsseldorf and secures the lead!

A gripping duel in the 2nd German Bundesliga ended with a clear 4-1 win of Hamburger SV via Fortuna Düsseldorf in the Volksparkstadion. Already in the 7th minute Miro Muheim put the hosts in the lead with a fantastic 28-meter shot, but the joy lasted only briefly. Dawid Kownacki surprisingly equalized in the 18th minute after Düsseldorf could hardly be found on the offensive, like laola1.at reported. However, the HSV was not put off and increased shortly before half -time through a header from Davie Selke after a corner to 2: 1.

In the second round, the HSV continued its dominant style of play. In the 66th minute, Adam Karabec made it 3-1 when his shot bounced off the post into the net. Düsseldorf could still not add up, even when they adapted their offensive tactics. In injury time, Otto Stange set the end and made the clear 4-1 win perfect. Due to this victory, the HSV not only recaptured the league lead, but is now a point before the 1. FC Köln, which won 1-0 against Ulm on the same day, with 45 points. href = "https://www.faz.net/aktuell/sport/bundesliga/hsv-biebetieg-betieg--duesseldorf-in-topspiel-und-lebet-er-2-liga-110334693.html"> FAZ.NET
