Surprise on the streets of Vreden! A so -called speed sinner was caught with more than twice the permitted 50 km/h. But that's just the tip of the iceberg! This week, the traffic police officers of the Borken district have caught the speed -rushed in intensive controls, and it is alarming how many drivers do not adhere to the rules.

A total of 4,555 vehicles were checked at 18 different measuring points, and the results are shocking: 676 drivers, which corresponds to around 15 percent, drove too quickly! The traffic service of the district police authority Borken takes action, because excessive speed is one of the main causes of the accident and not only endangers the razor itself, but also uninvolved road users.

And that's not all - fine procedures against 135 drivers were also initiated and warned in 541 cases.
