Incredible 400 drivers, that is around twelve percent, have exposed themselves as evil traffic offenders in spectacular speed control on the streets. The police meticulously measured the speed of a total of 3,203 vehicles at six focal points in the district this week. In this operation, which aims at the main cause of the "excessive speed", 81 strict fine procedures were initiated against the speeders and 319 warning funds were pronounced.

The discoveries of the police were alarming! In Ahaus, a ruthless driver drove a breathtaking 56 km/h in a 30s zone on Fuistingstrasse-that is almost twice the permitted speed! But the madness did not stop: in Schöppingen, a vehicle with a shocking speed of 111 km/h was registered on Schöppinger Strasse, where only 70 km/h are allowed. These dangerous driving mode not only endanger the rasher themselves, but all uninvolved road users.
