New double -decker buses on the S75: Comfort for commuters in the Münsterland!
An exciting chapter for local public transport in Münsterland has started! Westfalen Bus GmbH upgraded its S75 sprinter line, which leads from Münster via Borken to Bocholt, with three brand new double -decker buses. These “flagships” were solemnly presented at the bus station in Borken last Friday and are now ready to inspire the over 2,000 daily passengers with comfort and the latest technology.
The new red giants cannot be overlooked and set a strong sign of the importance of public transport. Steffen Lanwert, the branch manager of Westphalia Bus Münsterland, emphasizes the relevance of this premium line: "The S75 is a strong alternative to private transport." Also Dr. Elisabeth Schwenzow, Traffic Director of the Borken district, emphasizes that the consistently high passenger numbers make the S75 an indispensable means of transport for commuters.
A step to the turn of traffic
With two of the new vehicles that are already in use, and a third party that will soon follow show everyone involved that this project is an important contribution to the traffic transition. The enthusiasm is noticeable - the passengers can look forward to a comfortable and efficient journey! It is worth getting in, because the S75 not only offers a quick connection, but also an environmentally friendly alternative for everyone who wants to do without the car.
