Münsterland is planning the future: Second participation round starts soon!

The Münster district government is increasingly announcing the second group of participation to change the Münsterland regional plan - and that is not an unimportant event! From October 28th to December 9th, 2024, citizens have the opportunity to give their opinions on the revised plans. This plan is of crucial importance for the future development of the region and is intended to guarantee a harmonious balance between different usage claims.

The regional plan aims to use the limited area resources of the region efficiently and sustainably. A central point is the promotion of renewable energies! It is ensured that the plan corresponds to the requirements of the state development plan (LEP NRW) and the federal area scheme for flood protection (BRPH). As early as 2023, 1,200 comments were received on the first draft, which were carefully evaluated. The regional planning authority assures that the citizens' votes are heard!

The new plan documents can be viewed online on the "Participation NRW" platform or directly from the Münster district government! For those who prefer to stop by personally: the documents are also available during the opening hours in the Münster district government (Domplatz 1-3). In this crucial phase, everyone has the opportunity to give statements on the changes from October 28 to December 9, 2024 and to assert their influence on the future development of their home country!
