Bocholt starts through: New residential area 7höfe for all generations!

Bocholt, Deutschland - Bocholt is being built! A new city district is being built under the exciting project "7höfe", which will offer 382 apartments for families, singles, seniors and students. In addition to the apartments, a neighborhood bakery, a catering operation on the AA bank and a daycare center are also being planned. Much of the apartments are publicly encouraged, which means that many people can live here at affordable prices. 193 apartments have already been completed in the first two construction phases, including 68 funded units. Modern new apartments are currently being built in the third construction phase, which are also publicly funded.

On November 7, Ina Scharrenbach, the Minister for Home, Locales, Construction and Digitization of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, presented a funding commitment over 4 million euros. This was done in the presence of Bocholt's Mayor Thomas Kerkhoff and District Administrator Dr. Kai Zwicker, who all emphasized the importance of this project. Scharrenbach praised the project as "new standards for modern, sustainable and affordable living" and emphasized that a living quarters are being built on the site of the former Bocholter textile industry.

District Administrator Dr. Kai Zwicker made it clear that those responsible in Westmünsterland take the concerns of the citizens seriously and that the new residential solutions have to fit the region. Mayor Kerkhoff described the project as the most exciting housing project in the Münsterland, which not only creates living space, but also places for art and culture. The board of the Wohnbau Group, Uwe Schramm, emphasized the regional cooperation behind this project, while Dr. Stefan Jägering emphasized the vision of a cross -generational neighborhood. Heinrich-Georg Krumme from Sparkasse Westmünsterland underlined the urgency of creating living space in order to secure the quality of life and the economic future of the region.
