Bocholt builds the future: New quarters 7höfe with 382 apartments is being built!

in Bocholt, between the city center and the picturesque Aasee, will create an impressive new city district called "7höfe"! 382 apartments are created here, which are designed especially for families, singles, seniors and students. The project also includes a neighborhood bakery, a catering operation on the AA bank and a daycare center. Much of the apartments are publicly funded to create affordable living space. 193 apartments have already been completed in the first two construction phases, including 68 funded units. The third construction phase is currently working on 18 modern new apartments, which are also offered at low rental prices.

On November 7, Ina Scharrenbach, the Minister for Home, Locales, Construction and Digitization of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, presented a funding commitment of 4 million euros. This was done in the presence of Bocholt's Mayor Thomas Kerkhoff and District Administrator Dr. Kai Zwicker. Scharrenbach praised the project as a "new benchmark for modern, sustainable and affordable living" and emphasized the importance of public housing funding for the creation of neighborhoods. District Administrator Zwicker also emphasized that those responsible in Westmünsterland take the concerns of citizens seriously and develop suitable solutions for the region.

Bocholt's mayor Kerkhoff described the project as the most exciting residential building project in Münsterland, which combines art, culture and quality of living. Uwe Schramm, board member of the Wohnbau Group, emphasized the regional cooperation, which is funded by this project. "7höfe" should not only create apartments, but also develop a lively, cross -generational quarters that meet the different needs of the residents. Heinrich-Georg Krumme from Sparkasse Westmünsterland said that the creation of living space was a central concern to ensure the quality of life and economic future.
