Clarinet magic in the Federal Council: An evening of the masterpieces!
Bonn, Deutschland - On December 11, 2024, at 8 p.m., the audience in the old Federal Council can expect a fascinating chamber concert by the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn. The artists, including the clarinetist Hans-Joachim Mohrmann as well as the violinist Keunah Park and Melanie Torres-Meißner, shape a musical evening that focuses on the interplay between clarinet and strings. The kick-off already presents the clarinet quartet by Krzysztof Penderecki, followed by the dynamic serenade for string trio in C major by Ernst von Dohnányi, which will inspire the audience with its rhythmic vigor.
After a short break, the listeners can expect one of the most important chamber music works: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's clarinet quintet A major (KV 581), which celebrates the merger of clarinet and strings in a previously unknown way.
