A dramatic use in pine bush! A devastating fire broke out on November 9, 2024, at 7:06 p.m., in a seven -story apartment building on the Riesengebirgsstrasse and made the entire building uninhabitable. The Bonn fire brigade was immediately on site with a large contingent when the first alarm reports on heavy smoke development were received. A total of 81 residents were registered in the building that escaped in fear and terror.

The first emergency services found smoke from a distribution box of the electrical sub -distribution in the initial phase, but soon the infernal fire was threatening. At 7:41 p.m., the alarm level was increased to Fire 4 when the fire through cable ducts and shafts entered the upper floors and even endangered apartments. Despite the rapid and courageous intervention of several groups with small extinguishers and the smokehouse in the entire building, a slightly injured child had to be taken to a hospital. Overall, the residents suffered little physical damage, but the full effects of this terrible incident are not yet foreseeable.

The fire brigade fought tirelessly in almost blind fight against the fire and managed to control the site at 9:35 p.m. In the meantime, the regulatory office took care of the accommodation of 15 persons affected, while the rest of the residents were privately. The police have long since started the cause of the fire - an ominous uncertainty hovers over the neighborhood.

Around 70 emergency services, including units of the professional fire brigade and volunteer fire brigade, transformed the scene into a hectic but orderly rescue field. In the middle of the chaos there was also a deception alarm in Bad Godesberg, which required another alarm. Bonn experienced an evening on which courage, determination and willingness to help were put to the test.
