An exciting day in NRW! The federal police carried out two spectacular arrests on November 4! First it went to the matter in Essen Central Station when a 52-year-old German was checked by the officials without any identification papers. But what came to light was shocking: there was an arrest warrant from the Bochum public prosecutor's office against him! The district court had sentenced him for theft and imposed a fine of 1,350 euros. Since the homeless man could not pay, he was immediately arrested and brought into police custody before being transferred to a correctional facility.

an unexpected detour at the airport

And that wasn't all! In the evening, around 7 p.m., a 39-year-old Georgian was asked to checkout at Dortmund Airport. The entry control was surprised when his data was checked. He was also not without a criminal record: Due to driving without a license, the Wiesbaden district court had finished a fine of a whopping 1,250 euros! No problem for our Georgian, who was equally favorable and then finally entered the federal territory.

These arrests impressively show how the investigations by the federal police provide tangible results. A day full of excitement and unexpected twists - for these men, a new challenge every day!
