Südring, Bochum, Deutschland - A shocking turn took a beautiful October morning in Bochum! On October 27th at 4.15 a.m., a serious sole accident occurred with an e-scooter on the south ring. A 36-year-old Bochumer wanted to cross a transition towards the university road when it happened: she lost control at the curb and fell violently.

The woman suffered serious injuries in the terrible fall and had to be hospitalized immediately. Rescue workers were quickly on hand and ensured their rapid medical care. But the snapshot of this tragedy is even darker due to an alarming knowledge: When the accident was recording, the police found that the woman was alcoholic. An alcohol test was not possible, but a blood sample was taken directly to secure further information.
