Yesterday the federal police officers struck twice at the Recklinghausen main station! As part of a large -scale focus, they combed the train station and came up with two sought -after men. A 41-year-old German and a 25-year-old Afghan citizen were discovered after they have already submitted search calls from the Bochum public prosecutor's office.
At around 5 p.m. the duo was checked in the ZOB area. The older one, who was sentenced to ten months in 2022, was known for assault and resistance to enforcement officers and property damage. The younger one had only been fined last November for embezzlement, which had been a total of 300 euros plus costs, but both goods of their obligation to fulfill the initial charges.
arrest with consequences
The federal police did not get asked twice and arrested the two men. The 41-year-old was immediately taken to a correctional facility, where he now has to spend the next ten months. But there was a way out for the 25-year-old: he immediately contacted a friend who paid the amount of 386 euros directly on site, so that he could escape his prison sentence. A clever move, which, however, raises the question of how long this stroke of luck will last.
This incident once again illustrates the tireless efforts of the police to take action against crime and legal breakers. The successes of the federal police are further evidence of their vigilance and willingness to enforce the law!
