In the rousing duel of the Bundesliga, FC Bayern Munich won 4-2 against Heidenheim on Saturday thanks to a strong performance by Jamal Musiala. The Munichers, who are still at the top of the table, increased their lead to second place that the Frankfurters occupy, to six points. The return of Musiala, who returned to the starting eleven after a disappointing trophy against Leverkusen, was crucial for victory, like OE24 reported.
Bayern started strongly and took the lead in the 18th minute through a header from Dayot Upamecano after a corner. But Heidenheim surprised the Munich team shortly after the half -time break: Mathias Honsak used a faulty back pass from Upamecano and equalized in the 50th minute. However, Musiala brought Bavaria back into the lead just five minutes later, followed by a hit by Leon Goretzka in the 84th minute.
