Bielefeld, Deutschland - Bielefeld/Cologne - the tension increases! Over 30 artists and music acts are fighting for the coveted “1live crown” this year. Among them the already awarded stars Ski Aggu and Nina Chuba. By December 4, fans can choose their favorites in seven categories, as the Westdeutsche Rundfunk (WDR) announced. The glamorous award ceremony will take place on December 5th in the locomotive shed in Bielefeld. Who will put on the crown?

In the category “Best Artists”, not only last year's winner Ski AgGU, but also Apache 207, Kontra K, Montez and Nico Santos compete against each other. In the women, Ayliva, Lea, Leony, Loi and Paula Hartmann have the chance for the title “Best Artist”. Ayliva is also nominated as a “best live act” and could also win the price for the “best song” of 2024 with her hit “Wunder”. There are eight popular tracks to choose from!

Nina Chuba also mixes and is nominated in the category “Best Hip-Hop/R&B Song”, where she has to compete against the hit “Kissen” from 01099. Ski AgGu has chances for the title "Best Alternative Song" with his song "How you sometimes fail", which he recorded together with Zartmann. The competition is strong, including the song “Meer” by Jeremias is in the race.

The “1live crown” will be awarded for the 25th time this year and moderator Jeannine Michaelsen, who moderated the gala in 2013 and 2014, will be carried out by the anniversary show. A special highlight: the trophy is presented in a new, striking form - instead of a golden crown in a glass ball, there is now a pink rectangle! Who will take the crown home with you? The fans decide!
