Brutal act of violence in the spa park: Process for the death of Philipos T.
In the Bielefeld District Court, the highly expected negotiation started in the case of the brutally based Philipos Tsanis on Tuesday. The 20-year-old Mindener was fatally injured in Bad Oeynhausen at the end of June during the celebrations for his sister's prom. The 18-year-old Syrian Mwafak Al S. is criticized as the main defendant for the crime, while two 19-year-old Germans are also held responsible for collective assault. The court and the spectators were witnesses to an emotional opening when the victim's father broke out in protest against the behavior of the main defendant and called loud insults, like reported.
The public prosecutor accuses the main accusations of homicide and dangerous bodily harm. According to the indictment, Mwafak Al S. Philipos had brought to the ground after a verbal argument and then kicked his head several times, while he was already passed out. Philipos Tsanis succumbed to his injuries two days after the attack in the hospital. His mother described that she had her daughter, who she normally wanted to accompany to the process, at home because the circumstances were too stressful. She had a bad feeling and watched the accused as arrogant and unimpressed. This cruel act happened to happen on the sidelines of the Abifeier, while Philipos relaxed with friends in the Kurpark, what WDR reported.
a process with many questions
The public prosecutor has brought about detailed allegations that indicate an escalation of violence. It remains unclear which motif moved the main defendant to this brutal attack. The 18-year-old's defender announced that his client wants to comment on the allegations in early February. This was able to come into the focus of the authorities due to previous crimes that he had committed since his arrival in Germany. If he is convicted, he threatens a prison sentence of up to ten years because he is negotiated under juvenile justice. There are another 18 appointments in front of the court alone until the decision -making process has been completed.
