New Year's reception in Aachen: Mayor honors 100 volunteers!

Aachen, Deutschland - An exciting event is imminent! Mayor Sibylle Keupen invites 100 owners of the Aachen volunteer pass to a festive New Year's reception, which will take place on January 11, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the magnificent coronation hall of the Aachen town hall. This traditional event is a tribute to the remarkable commitment of the Aachen citizens in volunteering. "In this way I would like to say thank you for the impressive commitment," emphasizes the mayor.

The invitation is aimed not only at members of associations and organizations, but also to individuals who volunteer. Due to the limited capacity in the coronation hall, only 100 tickets are initially available. Interested owners of the volunteer pass can register with a photo of their passport at petra.mahr@mail.aachen.de. Participation is free of charge, and with high demand, the lot will decide who receives the coveted cards. The draw will take place in December, and the winners receive their tickets by email.
