Alemannia Aachen in court: dispute for 100,000 euros with ex-coach Hohl!

A dramatic chapter in football is opened! Alemannia Aachen and her former coach Helge Hohl are on trial. On Tuesday morning, the labor court in Aachen became the setting for a bitter dispute, which revolves around Hohl's dismissal protection lawsuit. The 33-year-old, who was released after just four games in August, now demands his right-and that could be expensive!

The fronts are hardened! Despite a failed attempt at mediation at the DFB in Frankfurt, where Alemannia Hohl made a generous offer, the conflict remains unsolved. Already in January the parties failed at a quality date. Now the question is clarified whether Hohl is entitled to point premiums and salary payments from last season. Does Alemannia also have to pay the premiums for championship and cup victory, although Hohl is no longer in office? The amount in dispute? A full sum of around 100,000 euros!

The contract in focus

Before the 8th Chamber of the court, it will not be about sporting questions, but about interpreting the contract between Hohl and Alemannia. The chairman of the supervisory board, Marcel Moberz, is disappointed with Hohl's behavior and emphasizes that the ex-coach had worked out the contract himself. "He agreed completely and originally did not want to severance if the project failed," said Moberz. But now, after the spectacular rise of Alemannia, the situation has escalated and the lawyers have to decide how high the farewell check will be hollow.

The story already has shadows of uncertainty that Hohl's predecessor Fuat Kilic accompanied. At that time it was unclear whether the contract would have extended when the climb had been increased. Now, with Alemannia's success, the situation is more explosive than ever. Moberz summarizes the situation: "It is a shame that Helge no longer wants to remember how we made our agreement back then." The tension increases - and the decision of the court could have far -reaching consequences!
