a sign of premature babies
Professor Jacqueline Bauer, the chief physician of the children's clinic in the Wolfsburg Clinic, emphasizes the importance of this day: "The premature babies and their families need our support. Their challenges and the risks for the further development of these children are often not adequately perceived." With this campaign, the clinic would like to set a strong sign and put the matters of premature babies into the spotlight. An urgent appeal that touches the hearts!
The numbers speak for themselves: Over 90 percent of premature babies survive today thanks to the latest medical care. The experts from the Wolfsburg Clinic are available for risk births or impending premature births to offer the best possible support. The chief physician of the women's clinic, Dr. Mignon-Denise Keyver-Paik, emphasizes that the Level 1 center in the clinic guarantees the highest security standards and that parents involve the medical care of their newborns closely. Every year over 1,700 newborns are born in the Wolfsburg clinic, and about every tenth baby of which is a premature born - the largest group of children in Germany!
