Serious accident at Cremlingen: truck tips over, three injuries!

cream. At 12.35 p.m. there was a devastating clash between a car and a truck near Cremlingen. The violent crash demanded a total of three slightly injured people, including a 13-year-old child who was in the car with a 41-year-old driver.

The highway had to be closed from the Scheppau junction for several hours - until around 3:30 p.m.! The clean -up work dragged on, and the motorway police was forced to lead numerous vehicles back to the false direction. The alternative route led via the L633 to Hordorf and then to the L635 to the Cremlingen junction. A nightmare for all drivers!

The scene of the accident was a place of disaster for the 46-year-old truck driver. He wanted to switch to the left lane shortly before the Cremlingen junction when he overlooked the small car with the 13-year-old passenger. The impact was so violent that the car was thrown against the guardrail, while the truck skidded and tipped over to the side. Both occupants of the car and the truck driver had to be treated by the emergency services and taken to the hospital. The image of the destruction remains in the memory!
