Italy's female tennis players have made history! With an impressive 2-0 win in the final of the Billie Jean King Cup in Malaga against Slovakia, they secured their fifth title in this prestigious team competition. A triumph that makes the fans' hearts beat faster!

Lucia Bronzetti opened the competition with a clear 6:2, 6:4 victory over the Slovakian player Viktoria Hruncakova and thus set the first accent for the Italian team. But that wasn't all! Jasmine Paolini, who was already in the finals at the French Open and Wimbledon this year, left nothing to be desired in the top singles against Rebecca Sramkova. With a dominant 6:2, 6:1 she completed the title win and gave Italy their first success since 2013.
